Chestnut Entertainment Center

Custom built for the needs of the client, this entertainment center combines elegance and functionality.

The finish is a warm Chestnut stain with a dark brown glaze to enhance the custom profiles and give the unit more visual depth and is protected by multiple coats of satin finish Polyurethane. We chose a water-based top coat to ensure child safety and eliminate the typical VOC gas-out of drying varnishes.

The unit features compartments for subwoofer and
satellite speakers, a pull-out component rack and a lit display cabinet with framed glass shelves. A framed smoked glass door conceals the the pull-out A/V component rack.

The specially constructed TV back allows mounting of an up to 55" flat screen TV. A solid frame gives the mounting surface the stability to carry up to 150 pounds, even when swung out into the room to access the wiring behind. A separate mounting plate allows the owner to slide the TV sideways for easy access to wire connections.

The right hand side of the unit features two large DVD/CD storage drawers with adjustable shelves. Six drawers on heavy duty drawer slides in the center of the unit offer additional storage.
